Experience the full unique and breath taking coastline of Ireland by taking part in a physical and mentally demanding endurance challenge.
This event is suited to the long distance cyclist and randonneur.
Progress of all participants will be available through live tracking during this event.
The route will consist of control points that must be reached within a time period and riders will need to obtain “proof of passage” from a variety of commercial and information controls along the way.
This event is scheduled for 14th – 28th July 2018.


Participants will have 15 days to complete the event. The event is designed to highlight the coastal points of interest along the 3100km route with competitors enjoying a unique tourist experience.
The noncompetitive nature of the event allows the participant sufficient time between segments to rest event coordinators will suggest rest points however it will be at the discretion of the individual participants to schedule their rest stops for both sleep and food.
Registration fee includes a minimum of two rest stops and a bag drop at 1300km. Keep up to date on this event web site.


This event will be open to various classifications of bikes encompassing elliptigos, tandems, tricycles, recumbents, road bikes, any human powered bike etc. Rules of the road apply all participants must wear properly fitted and CE marked helmets.


Starting time/ date: 6am Saturday 14th July 2018
Start Location will be Dublin City, Co.Dublin The City location to be confirmed by event organisers.

Start date may default to Thursday 12th July for riders based on distance covered per day selection – this information will be sought during the registration process.
Event end point Dublin City. The City location to be confirmed by event organisers.
The location for Start and Finish will be confirmed by September 2017.


Official start date is Saturday 14th July 2018. However in order to ensure all riders complete the event by the scheduled finish date 28th July 2018. Start dates will be allocated on the distance a rider aims to cover per day this also allows the event to cater for a wider range of human powered bikes.
Thursday 12th July 2018 Full Value Rider Minimum 200km per day. (This allows ample time to take in many of the scenic locations the route travels through).
Saturday 14th July 2018 for riders that aim to complete in excess of 250km per day.


The fee for registration is €350.
Entry cost provides:
Minimum 2 bag drops (Respective distances 1300km and 2100km) meals provided at these locations,
Live tracking to a world – wide audience (updated every 10 seconds)
GPS route,
Optional shelter controls along route (limited opening times).
Route sheet,
Neck wallet.
Additional accommodation listings between optional shelter controls will be provided however cost incurred using B&B / Hostel/ Hotel accommodation is at riders own expense.
Event trophy designed for this event for each rider completing the event by the cut- off date and upon production of “proof of passage” from control points.
